This morning John Murtaugh was interviewed on Fox & Friends by Steve Doocy. Murtaugh, who is now a Yonkers, New York councilman, was the victim of Weather Underground terror when he was nine years old. His home was bombed by the Weather Underground in 1970. Murtaugh's father was presiding over the Panther 21 trial. Ayers' terror group sympathized with the defendants in that case.

DOOCY: We’ve had the Obama camp on a number of times, and they dispute the relationship and everything else. They say it goes back to when they simply served on boards, and they only met at a couple of board meetings and stuff like that plus that get together at Bill Ayers' house. Why is it you think — because this is something I have not heard until this morning. Why is it you think the relationship between Bill Ayers and Barack Obama goes back 20 years.
MURTAGH: Bill Ayers' wife Bernadine Dohrn, also one of the original leaders of the Weather Underground, and the woman who took credit for the bombing at our home and other New York targets, Bernadine Dohrn was a attorney by training. She couldn’t get admitted to bar because of her crimes. Bill Ayers' family got her a job at a large Chicago law firm, Sidley and Austin in the 1980s. She was contemporary at that law firm in the 80s with Michelle Obama. It was the firm where a year later -

MURTAGH: Sure and a year later it's where Michelle and Barack Obama met. So I believe if the senator were to come clean and tell us the full story we’d find out this relationship well predates the fundraiser held in the Ayers' home and goes back to the 80s.
Barack Obama met his future wife at Sidley and Austin in 1990--Dohrn had moved on to Northwestern University by then, where she is now a law professor--despite not having a license to practice law.
How the heck did that happen? Well, it could be because Bill Ayers' father, Thomas, was a member of the Northwestern University board of trustees for thirty years, and served as its chairman for eleven years.
I've touched on this before, but one of the defenses of the "rehabilitated" Ayers is that Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley tapped Ayers to assist him in implementing Chicago's school reform.
Thomas Ayers, who passed away in 2002, was the CEO of the Chicago area's electric utility and a close friend of Daley's father, Richard J., who was Chicago's mayor for 21 years.
That's just the way things are done in Chicago.

You're kidding, right? The argument is ridiculous for a number of reasons. First, Sidley & Austin has 1,800 lawyers, with more than 500 in Chicago. I've worked in firms a third that size and not known most of the people who worked there. Secondly, Dohrn left in 1988 while Michelle Obama joined the firm in the fall of 1988. Even if they worked there at the same time, it was for a few months at most. Third, there is no evidence that they did know each other at the firm. Fourth, the logicial conclusion of the argument is that every lawyer who was in that firm at that time is guilty of whatever it is you seem to be accusing the Obamas of. And for that matter, employees of any company or firm are responsible for knowing the past acts of their co-workers. And should be deemed to be consorting with criminals if any of them happens to have a record. And lastly, aside from the fact that this guy has absolutely no concrete evidence on which to base his assertions, he's not what I would consider an unbiased source.
You guys are really grasping at straws now.
And, I've heard Com Ed hired folks the Democrats recommended under Ayers, et al.
