Ben Adler of Politico asks the question, "Can McCain compete with Obama online?" His retort is essentially a firm "No."
I disagree. John McCain has held about a dozen blogger teleconferences, I've taken part (Hey, are you aware I'm online right now?) in two of them.
Does anyone know how many blogger teleconferences that the great orator, Barack Obama, has held? If you believe he's had more than zero, please leave your evidence in the comments section.
And it's been the blogs, along with talk radio, that have advanced such stories as Obama's relationship with Bill "Bomber" Ayers, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright (before ABC News ran his incendiary sermons), and excepting the Chicago media, Obama's ties to convicted felon Antoin "Tony" Rezko.
Compete online? McCain can win online.
