Glenn & Helen Show podcast with Douglas J. Feith

Are you aware that there is a new book written by a former Bush administration about the events leading up to the Iraq War and its troubling aftermath? Yeah, Scott McLellan's book just came out--a fave among the anti-Bush crowd, but so did War and Decision by Douglas J. Feith, he served as Undersecretary of Defense for Policy from 2001 through 2005. As Glenn and Helen co-host Glenn Reynolds notes on Instapundit:

Feith's book is copiously documented, and he’s also made a lot of his documents available on his website. But the book, though selling well online, hasn't gotten the kind of Big Media attention you’d expect.

The only review I've seen on it was in a recent National Review.

The former undersecretary is the latest guest on the Glenn & Helen Show, which is co-hosted by Dr. Helen Smith.

Feith is no cheerleader for the Bush administration and is particularly tough on how the our government managed--or make that mismanage--our message of what we were our goals in Iraq were after Saddam Hussein was defeated in 2003.

Do you need a good reason to buy War and Decision? Here's what Feith says in the podcast:

I'm not making any money on it and I think it's important that your listeners know that. I have donated 100 percent of my revenues from the book to charities that support veterans and their families.
