Scott Fawell once was the right hand man of ex-Illinois Governor George H. Ryan. After being found guilty of racketeering, Fawell received a 6 1/2 year sentence. But he got a four month sentence reduction, and as well time cut from his fiancee's prison term--after he agreed to testify against his former boss.
Fawell has been released from prison, he is now living in a half-way house until September.
The feds are kinder to people who talk. Such thoughts might be bouncing around Tony Rezko's head as he sits in his cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

That's where that old boy was! Why did I think he was in the middle of nowhere going back and forth between jail and the courthouse? Oh and I wonder what are the odds if he'd just talk. I would imagine that if he had there'd be no reason he'd be on trial right now. Of course the trial isn't over so he might yet have something to say for himself before the trial is over.
Yankton, S.D. Right on the Nebraska border. Same place where James Duff is.
