The latest Newsweek not only put Obama's famous mug on its cover again, on its web site in includes a couple of long articles, one here, the other, an interview, here.
Newsweek's Richard Wolffe and Daren Briscoe were the reporters who wrote the Obama articles, and I'm curious as two why the latest Newsweek is a "Rezko free zone."
For you who think I've succumbed to cyncicism, Rezko is not old news.
Here are some June Marathon Pundit posts about Obama and Rezko:
Obama gives up donation from man with Rezko ties
Obama donates more Rezko tainted donations to charity
Obama's letters for Rezko show favors
Rezko cash three times what Obama claims
Chicago Tribune catches up to Marathon Pundit
Obama ditching more Rezko linked cash, but what about Hillary?
Oh, the reporters touch on a controversial topic, Obama's last minute dumping of his pastor from giving the invocation at his February presidential announcement, but that's it.
Curiously, Obamas 2004 Senate campaign trip to impoverished Cairo, Illinois plays a role in one of the articles.
Here's my take on Obama and Cairo from earlier this year:
Obama and the Laborers' Union Ed Smith
Do your jobs, Richard Wolffe and Daren Briscoe. Ask the right questions.
