Amy Jacobson now a former NBC 5 Chicago reporter
In another bizarre story involving a broadcast media personality, NBC 5 Chicago's Amy Jacobson is no longer employed by the NBC owned-and-operated television station.
It's been a bad July for NBC, it owns the Spanish language Telemundo network, and last week a romantic affair between married Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Telemundo reporter Mirthala Salinas became public. The mayor is now separated from his wife.
Jacobson had been a Channel 5 general assignment reporter since 1996, and one of the stories she was covering was the mysterious disappearance in April of Lisa Stebic, who was undergoing a bitter divorce battle with her husband, Craig.
On Friday, Lisa and her kids visited the Stebic house for a small pool party in Plainfield, Illinois. Neighbors told CBS 2 Chicago that Jacobson had been a frequent visitor at the Stebic home in the last few weeks.
Jacobson brought her kids along to Plainfield, and they played with the Stebic's children.
As you can see in the video still, Jacobson is wearing a bikini top while using her cell phone inside the Stebic home.
