Mullet Night at Friday's Chicago White Sox game
Fresh off their 10th lost in their last 12 games, the Chicago White Sox welcome the Houston Astros to the South Side Friday night, in a rematch of the 2005 World Series. The White Sox won their first MLB crown in 88 years after sweeping Houston.
In what won't be a surprise to snobbish Chicago Cubs fans--the team that hasn't won a World Series in 99 years--the Sox are opening the series with a Mullet Night promotion.
Hairstylists will be in attendance at the park for the mulletless, and a half-hour before game time, a mullet parade will take place on the warning track on the South Side.
A few idiots chose to run on the field during the ninth inning in tonight's loss to the New York Yankees, and such behavior, after a couple of well-reported incidents a few years ago, is considered a serious crime here.
Maybe they thought the Mullet Parade was tonight.
