An internet rumor about Barack Obama is floating around again. This one, according to the Chicago "free registration required" Tribune claims that the Illinois senator traveled to Libya and visited Moammar Gadhafi in 1984.
At that time Obama, recently graduated from Columbia University, was a financial analyst in New York--and, I'm sure he'd agree with me on this one, a complete nobody.
It was the controversial Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who a few years later would become Obama's pastor, that made the trip--with the loathsome Louis Farrakhan--to Libya and hobnobbed with the Col. Gadhafi.
The Tribune writes that the incorrect story, which has been floating around the internet, comes from WorldNet Daily type site that I've never heard of, OneNewsNow.
Here is the article, I believed the site fixed the error about Obama.
