Moron the "Peace" rally in Chicago, and in Cleveland, just one protester shows up at one event

From Marathon Pundit stringer Derric Wlodarz, who attended the rally. Derrick says about 400 people were at this "love fest." Chicago area media accounts place that number at anywhere from 500 to 1000.

During the march, towards the back, there were some extreme socialists that had a mobile music lab set up of sorts. One person was carrying a blasting boombox, another was banging on a bongo drum, and another was yelling into the microphone, leading the crowd, with a chant of "Bomb the White House" in unison with the music.
Many calls were made to impeach the President. This was stated many times by speakers during the pre-march rally, and then repeated by much of the crowd that marched.

"F*ck Bush" was a common chant, heard many times.

I had to leave at 2:30pm, but a fellow Republican that I met up with emailed me the following statement of what happened just after I left:

A hippy took a piece of chalk and started writing in front of the long line of cops "Give a pig a hug" [insert peace symbol here]. The cops just kinda looked at it and didn't give a shit.

"How many people would Jesus kill?" was something repeated many times to me by a hippy that claimed he "wasn't represented by the crowd present." He asked me for my address so he could send me some materials to read, but I declined his offer.
After quickly looking at the World Cant Wait website, I think the guy was trying to promote a song by Anti Flag that was heavily marketed by WCW at the rally.

* Who would Jesus bomb? Yeah, who would Jesus kill?
* The double talk is past surreal
* The word of God is now the word of hate
* War is peace, and freedom is the police state
* Can't you see the writing on the wall?
* Democracy lays trampled on the floor...

Thanks Derrick!

Oh, the World Can't Wait folks will be in our face again soon. They're planning nationwide protests to coincide with the president's next state of the union address. Those are usually held in January or February, making an outdoor protest in cities such as Chicago not very pleasant.

Meanwhile at Cleveland State University--known to Marathon Pundit readers as Mile 14 of the Cleveland Marathon--the World Can't Wait protest was a complete flop, so says liberal Clevelander Distracted Mind:

So I went to photograph gathering college students and protesters at CSU, organizing to protest as part of the World Can’t Wait nationwide protest. All I found was an empty courtyard, a single protester sitting at a picnic table and a group of student journalists after the same photo opportunity I had hoped to find. Evidently the world will have to wait for a group of people that is better organized and that actually cares enough to do something more than mount a poorly publicized and half-hearted protest.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer does report 200 people showed up at another Cleveland rally, but still: Just one protester!
