The Sierra Club was once simply a conservation organization when it was founded--by John Muir and others--in the 19th century. But it lost its way years ago--probably in the 1960s--and its now a nest of far-lefties. In its conference calls, the Communications Workers of America cite the Sierra Club
as an ally. Exactly what does the labor movement have to do with the environment movement?
Doug Ross has this to say:
Unbelievable: Why You Should Never Donate a Penny to the Sierra Club, Nor Any Group That Supports It.
The Sierra Club, Ross reports, started its Beyond Natural Gas initiative, which bolsters its Beyond Coal and Beyond Oil campaigns. Of course they detest nuclear energy and hydro-electricity.
Do the Sierra Club extremists expect to live on unreliable wind and solar energy?
