Video: Newt on shipping packages and illegal immigration

No one is better than Newt Gingrich than weaving one concept into another--even when they are as disparate as shipping packages and illegal immigration--and have it all make sense.

And...I'd like to add, he does it without the use of a teleprompter. I was there yesterday when Gingrich spoke in Rosemont, Illinois in advance of Tuesday's Illinois Primary. There was no teleprompter inside the hotel ballroom where he spoke. Yes you can be a great orator without one.

After Gingrich described how Federal Express and UPS track 24 million packages every day--and it allows its customers to track them as well. For free. That's the world that works, the former House Speaker said.

"Over here you have the federal government--the world that doesn't work. And the federal government today cannot find 11 million illegal immigrants even if they're sitting still."

One of Gingrich's suggestions is to have the feds ship packages to these 11 million illegals--so it can find them.

Publius Forum has a report on Gingrich's appearance at the Illinois GOP Lincoln Day dinner in Palatine. And PF was there a few hours ago when Gingrich refuted President Obama's claim that the Republican Party opposes new energy sources. His exclusive video is here.
