F*cking golden: Attorney says Blago hit the "inmate lottery" with prison assignment

The Old Prospector, Denver,
"I've got this thing, it's f*cking golden."
Disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich must report to his assigned prison, the Federal Correctional Institution-Englewood in Colorado, on Thursday. CBS 2 Chicago interviewed attorney Allan Ellis, the author of "The Federal Prison Guidebook," who said of Blago's next home, "It's a good draw. He hit the inmate lottery in getting there."

Or you could say "It's f*cking golden." That's how the hair-brained Chicago Democrat described President Obama's Senate seat--which he attempted to sell.

Blago was given a 14 year sentence for his various public corruption crimes. He's expected to make a pubic statement Wednesday afternoon outside his Northwest Side Chicago home and then take a flight to Denver. Which means we won't have a multi-helicopter media chase of Blagojevich to prison, as what happened when his predecessor, Republican George Ryan. was driven to the federal prison in Oxford, Wisconsin five years ago to begin his sentence for various public corruption crimes.
