WFI issues statement concerning FAA situation

The Workforce Fairness Institute issued a statement this morning about the partial FAA shutdown.

"The unwillingness of some in Congress to pass an extension of FAA authorization risking the jobs of 4,000 workers and the health of our economy to defend a subsidy for an airport in Senator Harry Reid's home state of Nevada is indefensible. Worse yet, is the steadfast commitment those in the Senate have demonstrated to undermining the rights of workers in the airline and railroad industries for no other purpose than to reward Big Labor bosses," said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). "This is yet another example of government officials in Washington, D.C. putting the concerns of special interests with deep political pockets above the welfare of working American families who deserve both their hard-fought freedoms and decent-paying jobs."
