Last January our hyper-partisan president took the unprecedented step of criticizing a Supreme Court decision, Citizens United vs. the Federal Election Commission, during his State of the Union address--while embarrassed justices were in the audience. Citizens United is a conservative group that wanted to run commercials promoting its movie, Hillary: The Movie during the 2008 presidential campaign. In response to that legal victory for the group, President Obama and the Democrats attempted to enact the DISCLOSE Act--in the hope of circumventing the Citizens United decision. That act barely passed the House--and it was dead-on-arrival in the Senate.
In an exclusive, Pajamas Media is reporting that President Obama intends to issue an executive order to implement portions of the DISCLOSE Act.
