You would think after driving over much of this country, which I've done, that wind energy provides a significant portion of our power needs. I mean, man, I see more and more windmills out there.
Wrong! Despite all the new wind mills that can be seen from rural interstates, wind provides us with a less than 1 percent of our energy needs. It only employs 85,000 people.
