Last week I met Joel Pollak, the Republican candidate for Illinois' 9th Congressional District, at a Starbucks in Skokie. The two of us discussed his road map for victory on November 2, his positions on cap and trade and what I call the so-called Employee Free Choice Act, and finally, why would someone with such a sterling reputation want to muddy it up by becoming a member of Congress.
That background noise is the wind--it was quite breezy that afternoon.

EXCELLENT interview, John.
I'm passing you interview along to my readers. Good work.
That background noise is more than the wind; it's traffic and people at nearby tables. Good interview but very hard to listen to. Unintelligible at times.
Do Joel a favor. Post a transcript of this interview and/or interview him again where there's no wind or traffic.
