Code Pink blues

Over at Big Peace, Andrea Shea King and Kristinn Taylor have their latest exposé on Medea Benjamin, a leader of the radical anti-troops Code Pink organization.

Benjamin, she's on the right holding the banner, was arrested last week for trespassing at the Virginia home of Xe Services (formerly Blackwater) founder Erik Prince. Now Benjamin in threatening the woman who had her arrested, Prince's wife.

In other Code Pink news, the day after Benjamin's arrest, California gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown held a fundraiser at the home of Jode Evans, another leader of the organization and a Barack Obama bundler.

Evans once told a Gold Star mother, "Your son deserved to die in Iraq if he was stupid enough to go over there."

That kind of dissent is absolutely not patriotic. As for Brown, he's still "Moonbeam" to me.
