As he did last year, Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica (R-Riverside), spoke at the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party.
Away from the rostrum, Peraica spoke about the Cook County "corruption tax," the price county residents such as myself pay for cronyism, nepotism, and graft. And that price is going up--but how much?
We don't know. Because Democratic officials, Peraica says, are delaying the mailing of the 2010 property tax bills until after Election Day.
There is no transparency in President Obama's home county.
