MSNBC gets it wrong in its attack on NRSC ad about Giannoulias

The dozens of viewers who watch MSNBC received some misinformation this afternoon when some guy named Dylan Ratigan, who I think hosts a show there, got a fact seriously wrong about this brilliantly executed National Republican Senatorial Committee ad:

DYLAN RATIGAN: Dirty politics reared its ugly head in Illinois. Hours after the state treasurer, Alexi Giannoulias won the Democratic Senate primary-that is an Italian name, Giannoulias, excuse me. Republicans are comparing Giannoulias, an Italian name, to a character from "The Sopranos."

Uh, you moron, Giannoulias is a Greek name, as an online search will quickly teach you.

If you are one of the dozens of people who watch MSNBC, I'm glad to educate you.

Oh, if you live in Illinois, do the smart thing and vote for Republican Mark Kirk in November.

Of course Giannoulias' campaign might counter with "Vote for Giannoulias--so no one gets hurt!"

Hilarious. MSNBC gets is wrong... hmmm, wait. Saying "MSNBC gets it wrong" seems to me to be a bit repetitious. I mean, when have they ever gotten anything right?
