Although the Scott Lee Cohen fiasco is dominating the news in Illinois, the Republicans have a candidate for lieutenant governor, downstate businessman Jason Plummer.
Plummer, who I backed in the primary, is a political newcomer.
By the way, all of the Democratic candidates on this year tickets are from the Chicago area. If gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady maintains his narrow lead, three GOP candidates will be from downstate.
Which party is more inclusive?
