Patriots descended upon Chicago's Millennium Park Saturday morning for a Tea Party--a few blocks away from the scene of the crime--the site of Barack Obama's election night acceptance speech.
I spoke to the crowd for a few minutes, and I made a note that this is not an astroturf movement--Unlike ACORN and SEIU staged rallies, school buses didn't bring protesters to downtown Chicago, and none of the signs carried by the patriots were mass-produced.
My friend Tom Mannis' of the Chicago News Bench was also there, you can see his slideshow here. And Tom has video of the Blacksphere's Kevin Jackson's speech.
The event was organized by the Chicago Tea Party Patriots, and they are organizing another Tea Party, which will be held outside of the Chicago office of Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-IL) on November 7.
