Bank of America buys Rezko mansion for $2.8 million

Dontcha love the irony? The Bank of America, which put political fixer Antoin "Tony" Rezko's mansion up for auction this morning, was the sole bidder on the property, buying it for $2.8 million.

The Bank of America received federal bailout funds, and Rezko was a chief financer of Barack Obama's campaigns--until the since-convicted felon came under federal scrutiny.

And now Obama is president.

As Elton John sang in The Lion King, "It's the circle of life..."
