Mumia might escape execution

The Left's poster child for opposition to the death penalty, Mumia Abu-Jamal, won a significant legal victory today in Philadelphia. The Third U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that the convicted cop-killer and international cause célèbre should not be executed by the state, but must instead be given either a new sentence of life in prison, or have his case assigned to a jury that would not rule on his guilt or innocence--but rather if he should be sentenced to death.

But his murder conviction stands, Mumia is not getting a new trial.

Protests by Mumia supporters regarding what they view as an unfair ruling are expected in several US cities on Friday.

With a bit of luck, this cop-killer might have an unfortunate mishap with other 'falsely accused' political prisoners.

A kind of Shank Redemption.

If by chance he should get a new trial or wants to file a lawsuit maybe Michelle Obama can represent him since she has not had a happy memory of any sort until just of late and feels that she has been opressed, repressed and depressed, maybe this would be good therapy for her.
