(Video) Margaret Thatcher in final speech as prime minister attacks socialism

In her last speech on the floor of the British House of Commons as Prime Minister, the late Margaret Thatcher tied a leftist in knots when she countered his class warfare rhetoric with this statement:

"But what the honorable member is saying," Thatcher said in 1990, "is that he'd rather the poor were poorer provided the rich were less rich. That way you'll never create the wealth for better social services as we have."
