Huffington Post: Take down the Romney-Bane pic

Huffington Post has an article, which is two days old, with a PhotoShopped image of Mitt Romney as the Dark Knight Rises villain Bane. Prior to today's senseless shootings at a screening of the movie near Denver, such a portrayal barely rose to the level of trivial. Now it is in extremely bad taste.

On it's front page this morning, Huffington Post, rightly, is calling the shooting a "horrific event."

In the days leading up to the release of the film, Democratic operatives and liberal bloggers were making quips about the similarity of the vilian's name and the firm Romney used to run, Bain Capital.

Oh dear There is a Bane Capital Twitter account, one that hasn't been updated since yesterday evening.

According to media reports, like the movie villain, Holmes was wearing a gas mask while shooting at the audience in the theater.
