Six states, DC, have over $4 gasoline prices

Glenview, IL, April 17, 2011
AP is reporting this evening that six states, as well as the District of Columbia, with an average of over $4 for a gallon of regular gasoline.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration continues its anti-drilling "permatorium" in the Gulf of Mexico; the Interior Department, was in the process of blocking drilling of oil and natural gas on millions of acres of federally-owned land--but the budget deal has capped that maneuver--for now.

President Obama's Energy Secretary, Steven Chu, before he was appointed to the office, expressed envy at the price of gas in Europe--which was $8 a gallon at the time.

Of course where I live, $4 gas is something to envy now, as you can see.

Gasoline prices have more than doubled since Obama was sworn in.

This is not change I can believe in.
