Blogging from Right Nation 2010 in Hoffman Estates, IL.Andrew Breitbart, the man who brought down ACORN, just gave a press conference where he answered one question: "What happened when you confronted the protesters out front."
Breitbart says he was called a "homosexual" twice. And spat on..."I have a woman spitting on me on tape." When he asked a protester who was holding a "Beck is hate" sign to cite one example of something Glen Beck said that was hateful, he couldn't. Breitbart, who was still tense about the confrontation, sarcastically described the scene: "His head exploded, he couldn't handle it."
He said there was an SEIU presence among the protesters.
It wasn't grass root activism. "It was astroturf."
