Dems' phony "Tea Party" kicked off ballot by Michigan high court

After news broke that Alvin Greene was the surprise winner of the South Carolina US Senate Democratic primary, Dem officials hinted that Greene may have been a Republican plant to ensure a November victory for the incumbent, Jim DeMint. No such evidence has been found. Since his win, Greene has been indicted on a felony obscenity charge.

Perhaps Democrats are just too-familiar with such chicanery. Because Democratic operatives were clearly behind the fake Michigan Tea Party which fielded a slate of candidates in competive Michigan races this fall. But earlier today the Michigan Supreme Court, citing technical issues with the so-called Tea Party's petitions, kicked it off the November ballot.

In a story published this morning, here is what the Detroit Free Press found:

• Mike McGuinness, the recently resigned chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party, who had denied any role in the Tea Party controversy, recruited his former stepmother to run for state representative.
• Jason Bauer, 30, of Waterford, former operations director for the Oakland Democrats and McGuinness' roommate, notarized petitions for at least four affidavits to run for office for people who now -- directly or through a relative -- say they didn't sign the affidavits. Overall, he notarized 12 of 23 Tea Party candidate affidavits.
• State Senate candidate Frantt Whitehill of Midland, who insists he's a real tea partyer, is a Democratic donor who ran for precinct delegate as a Democrat in August.
• Three Tea Party candidates recently gave money to Democrats.
Is it "tea partyer" or "tea partier?" My stylebook doesn't have the answer.

Heather Sartorious, age 20, told the paper, "I was never running for the Senate." Ruth Ann Spearman, the former "Tea Party" candidate for Oakland County commissioner, says, "Someone forged my signature."

Wow...not only is this nasty business, it could be illegal.

Expect this story on the front page of tomorrow's New York Times. Just kidding.

No matter what they try, they can't nail down the jello that is the tea party movement. It's too diverse, dispersed, organic, and virtually without a "leader".

It's frustrating the crap out of the Left... I wonder sometimes if this isn't God using His sense of humor and making some divinity happen here!

We'll know as it all unfolds.

From someone who spells it both ways! Tea Partier!!! Tea Partyer. Either way, it works!
