Thousands of SEIU, AFSCME, and teachers unions members will rally outside Illinois' state capitol in Springfield later this morning.

Governor Pat Quinn's 33 percent income tax hike, that's what. The pigs want to ensure the trough remains filled.

The recession is hitting Illinois hard, the state unemployment rate is almost two percentage points higher than the national rate. Raising taxes during a recession would be toxic. But these public-sector workers don't care.
Government workers, by the way, make more money than their private sector counterparts. Public servants? Not exactly.
It's Wednesday. Why aren't these "public servants" working?
