The Tea Party Express comes to Mishawaka, Indiana--part three

Scroll down to the bottom of this post for parts one and two.

Yesterday the Tea Party Express reached its geographic goal--Capitol Hill. It's political goal--a return to conservative values--is within reach.

Local activist Kevin Tracy was handed the microphone by Amy Kremer. An Air Force veteran, Tracy declared ", Ladies and gentlemen, socialism is a domestic threat to our constitution and our way of life. That's why I'm here."

He then told a story about a horror story about the Italian version of ObamaCare. An Idaho he met traveled to Italy, had a heart attack, and she waited three hours for treatment--"because there wasn't a doctor available." The hospital where she was treated wasn't in the hinterlands, it was the Universitario Agostino Gemelli, where the Pope goes for his medical care.

Now the woman and her husband don't want to leave the country anymore.

The rally ended musically. Rivoli Review performed a couple of more songs, the emotionally-charged "Freedom's Not Free," followed with Diane Nagy's "Where Freedom Flies." And Lloyd Marcus told the crowd, "My patriots need to see a black man who loves his country," before singing "God Bless America."

Marcus began the "Million Handshake March."

For the Tea Party Express, it was then on to Battle Creek, Michigan, a few more cities, and of course yesterday's triumphant rally in Washington.
