Bill Brady enters Ill. gov race, pledges not to raise taxes

Bloomington Republican Bill Brady formally entered the race 2010 for Illinois governor. Brady, a state senator pledges not to raise taxes.

Illinois faces a $9 billion deficit; Gov. Pat Quinn has not made a similar promise.

Well such a pledge is great, but Blago also pledged not to raise taxes. He wouldn't raise taxes and plunged the state into debt.

The next question is if Sen. Brady is fiscally conservative? Would he make some cuts and roll back some big spending programs?
