Republican senators Tom Coburn and John McCain released a 74 page report criticizing stimulus waste.
Among the unhappy findings is $1 million for education-ap loaded iPod Touch devices for 1,600 Utah high school students. Books are cheaper.
Almost a half-million is being spent on Blackberry Curve smartphones to help Washingtonians quit smoking. Unlike the Utah iPod caper, this boondoggle will create jobs--two of them.
Millions more are being spent on studies about the stimulus itself.
Three months to the Great Correction.
