Chicago Bears appear headed to suburbs as they buy Arlington Park
The exodus from Chicago continues. Macy's and the Gap have bailed on North Michigan Avenue, which was hit hard by two waves or riots last year.
And now the Chicago Bears appear to be on the move too. Late last night news broke that the NFL charter franchise purchased Arlington Park, a horse racing track, in suburban Cook County. The race course closed this month for good.
This is huge. Off of the top of my head--of the cities with teams in all four major sports leagues only Philadelphia and Denver have teams that play their home games in the core city--or have never had one of their teams call one of their suburbs home.
In seemingly unrelated news, CWB Chicago is reporting that on Monday the city's police commissioner, David Brown, in a speech said that car jackings are "down" in Chicago. That is a lie and Brown knows it. Also on that same day Cook County's so-called prosecutor, Kim Foxx, in a Tweet claimed that "the homicide rate remains flat." Wrong. Murders this year are up slightly over 2020 and much higher than in 2019.

Eight killed and at least 54 others wounded, including a cop, over weekend in Chicago
The first weekend of autumn brought plenty of shootings to Chicago. Eight people were shot to death aand at least 54 others were wounded. Among the wounded was a Chicago police officer who was shot in the legs--she has since been released. Also wounded was a Chicago Fire Department paramedic who was grazed by a bullet.
President Biden visits Chicago in two days. I don't expect him to talk about violence in the city.

Victory Boyd's invitation to perform our National Anthem at NFL Kickoff Game cancelled because she chose not to get vaccinated for religous purposes
I heard Mike Gallagher discussing this story on his radio show, which only the Epoch Times and the Daylight Post are covering as of this morning.
Victory Boyd is an African-American woman--which normally the mainstream media would fall overthemselves to defend--but because she is basing her decision not to get vaccinated on religious grounds, the media for now just shrugs and says, "Nothing to see here, please move on."
Because of the cancellation Boyd won't collect a $20,000 appearance fee.
From the Daylight Post:
An appearance by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Victory Boyd to perform the National Anthem at the NFL's Sept. 9 season-opening game in Tampa Bay was canceled by the league because she declined for religious reasons to be vaccinated against the CCP Virus.
"As I understand that Victory will not be fully vaccinated by the time of the Kickoff game, she would not have been able to comply with the terms of the Game Day Field Access Policy," NFL Senior Director for Media and Entertainment Events Seth Dudowsky told Boyd's father and manager, John Boyd, in an Aug. 31 email made available to The Epoch Times.
"And as a result, we unfortunately will not be able to invite Victoria to perform the national anthem at this year's Kickoff game," Dudowsky said.Raymond James stadium is an open-air venue. Presumably Boyd would have performed mid-field, which is usually quite empty when our National Anthem is sung at sporting events.

Rachel Maddow, Rolling Stone magazine fall for fake news COVID story from Oklahoma
One of the ongoing false narratives that the mainstream media is that rural Americans--meaning Donald Trump voters--are unsophisticated yokels. And perhaps dangerous ones as they may be recklessly spreading COVID-19. Or harming themselves with bizarre treatments.
Rachel Maddow leads this latest fake news parade.
From Fox News:
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow was excoriated on social media this week after failing to delete a tweet containing false information about hospitals in Oklahoma being overrun with coronavirus patients overdosing on Ivermectin, a parasite-fighting medication that can also be sold over the counter as a veterinary drug.
Maddow was previously criticized over the Thursday tweet, along with a number of other media figures, for spreading the false story without verifying it's authenticity after the hospital system in question denied the source's claim that people were being treated for the overdoses.
The story, which was originally reported at Oklahoma's KFOR-TV news, quoted testimony from Dr. Jason McElyea claiming that hospitals in a rural part of Oklahoma were being overrun with patients overdosing on the drug, causing gunshot victims to have to wait to be treated."Patients overdosing on ivermectin backing up rural Oklahoma hospitals, ambulances"
— Rachel Maddow MSNBC (@maddow) September 2, 2021
"'The scariest one I’ve heard of and seen is people coming in with vision loss,' he said."https://t.co/P909GtxBQZ
It was later deemed false after the Northeastern Hospital System denied any patients were treated for overdoses from the drug and that McElyea hadn't actually worked at one of the hospitals in question for two months.Rolling Stone ran with the story too but later issued a correction.
Six killed and at least 57 wounded over Labor Day weekend in Chicago, eight of those shot were children
Over Labor Day weekend six Chicagoans were shot to death and at least 57 others were wounded. Of those shot, eight of them were children. One of the slain was 4-year-old Mychal Moultry Jr, who was shot by stray bullets as he was getting a haircut inside a home. Moultry doesn't live in Chicago, he was visiting the South Side with his family, they are from Alabama.
So far in 2021 at least 280 children have shot shot in Chicago--35 of them fatally.
A recent poll by WGN TV/Emerson College shows that only slightly one-third of Chicagoans approve of the job Kim Foxx is doing. How did Foxx respond? With the race card. John Kass gives us her comments.
And we need to stop oversimplifying the criminal justice system and critically examine all the factors influencing violence in our communities. This means not relying on data from a cherry-picked poll that only examines two actors in a broad system and who happen to be Black women.
Foxx is an embarrasment. And a deadly one too.
According to Hey Jackass of Chicago's 2021 murder victims over 80-percent of them were African-American.Monday, September 06, 2021

Blog post headline from Hollywood writer: Oh my f*cking god, get the f*cking vaccine, you f*cking f*cks
Some Hollywood producer and writer, one that I never heard of, Wendy Molyneux, exposes her as a typical leftist. Despite their apparent charm and intelligence, they aren't far removed from the rambling loon you find on a city bus every once in a while.
Oh, there were no asterisks in the headline.
There is ONE person remaining in your life who wants to fucking save you from drowning in your own fucking lungs, you fucking fuckshit fuckdick, so for god’s sake, get your fucking ass out of your chair, go to the fucking pharmacy, and get a fucking vaccine, you absolute conscienceless fucking fuck fuck fuck. Get it. Get the fucking vaccine. Fuck you. Fuck fuck fuck. Fuck. Fuck you. Fuck!Oh, if you need to know, I am fully vaccinated. It was my choice.
Biden lied--or was confused again--about visiting synagogue after mass shooting
Sheesh, Biden is an embarrasment.
From the New York Post:
President Biden on Thursday told Jewish leaders that he spent time at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh after the October 2018 mass murder of 11 people there — but the synagogue told The Post he never visited.Later Biden's army of apologists explained that Sleepy Joe merely called the synagogue.“I remember spending time at the, you know, going to the, you know, the Tree of Life synagogue, speaking with them,” Biden said in a 16-minute virtual address ahead of the Jewish holidays Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.Barb Feige, executive director of the Tree of Life, said that Biden did not visit the synagogue in the nearly three years since the anti-Semitic attack. In a phone interview, Feige, executive director since July 2019, said firmly that “no” Biden didn’t visit, even before taking office when he had a lower public profile as a former vice president and then-Democratic presidential candidate.
