Chicago Marathon registrations coming in at record pace

Haven't done a running related post in a while, but after all this is Marathon Pundit.

From the Daily Herald:

Registration for the 28th LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon has reached 30,000 and is heading toward the 40,000 participant cap at a record pace — 30 percent faster than last year. The anticipated close of registration for the race is late July.

Go here if you want to register.

UPDATE 1:44 PM CDT: Third Wave Dave asked me to keep an eye on who's registered for the Chicago Marathon, specifically, to see if John Kerry signs up. More on John Kerry's "marathoning experience" here, courtesy of Football Fans for Truth.
