There are a few good aldermen on Chicago's generally useless City Council and Ray Lopez (15th) is one of them.
Here he denounces the policies that led to a college student being shot to death on the city's lakefront, allegedly by an illegal alien from Venezuela who skipped a Chicago court date after being arrested for shoplifting in 2023.
