Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of the release of the Kinks' landmark album, Arthur (or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire.)

The Kinks' resident genius, Ray Davies, under the guise of Arthur and the Emigrants, gives us a new song for the occasion, "The Future."
