Chicago's future now: Big chunks of concrete damage cars on North Side

Chicago, which because of its massive unfunded municipal worker pension obligations, is essentially bankrupt. The city has been skimping on infrastructure repairs for years.

Large chunks of concrete fell onto cars parked alongside Chicago Transit Authority tracks in the city’s Rogers Park neighborhood Thursday.

Multiple cars were seen damaged with massive pieces of concrete smashing their vehicles.

Witnesses said they heard a loud bang just after 4 a.m. and came out to find the crushed cars.
