Chiraq: 4 dead and at least 31 wounded over weekend

Chicago continues its bloody summer as four people were shot to death on the last weekend of July. An additional 31 people were wounded.

One of the dead is a young mother who was part of a three-person multiple shooting in Austin on the West Side that included a 19-year-old man and her four-year-old son, they were shot in the arm. The teen is believed to be a gang member.

In Marquette Park on the Southwest Side a 18-year-old man was fatally shot. On the Northwest Side near Belmont and Central a 21-year-old was shot to death while standing near a porch. And a 20-year-old man was gunned down fatally in Longwood Manor on the Far South Side.
