From Reuters:
Saudi Arabia executed a prominent Shi'ite Muslim cleric and dozens of al Qaeda members on Saturday, signaling that it would not tolerate attacks, whether by Sunni jihadists or minority Shi'ites, and stirring sectarian anger across the region. That's one of the few things the Iranians do well--storm embassies.
Several news outlets reported late Saturday that Iranian protesters stormed the Saudi embassy in Tehran, setting fire to part of the compound before police managed to wrest back control from the mob. The New York Times cited an eyewitness that claimed that demonstrators broke windows and set rooms ablaze in the embassy.
Hundreds of Shi'ite Muslims marched through Qatif district in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province in protest at the execution of cleric Nimr al-Nimr, an eyewitness said. They chanted "Down with the Al Saud!", the name of the ruling Saudi royal family.
Where is the outrage from the anti-death penalty liberals?
