Chiraq: 4 dead and at least 38 wounded over New Year's weekend

A new year and a new hope? Not in Chicago. 2016 was just two hours old when Chicago suffered its first homicide. There were three other murders over the long weekend and at least 38 people were wounded.

As for 2015, there were 467 homicides in Chiraq--50 more than in 2014. Nearly 3,000 people were wounded in the city.
