Chicago: As leftists protest Laquan McDonald killing, 7 shot, 1 fatally on South Side

On the same day professional protesters swarmed downtown Chicago in response to the release of a disturbing 2014 police dash-cam video showing a teen, Laquan McDonald, being shot 16 times by cop--who has since been charged with murder--seven people were shot on the South Side, one of them fatally.
