From the Chicago Sun-Times:
Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., D-Ill., is likely to be transferred from a halfway house in Baltimore to home confinement by the end of June, the Sun-Times has learned. The target date for the transfer is June 22, a source said.Jackson, who pled guilty in 2013 for looting about $750,000 from his campaign funds, left a prison in Montgomery, Ala. last March for the Baltimore facility. However, Junior's uncle, Noah Robinson, is still serving his life sentence for murder-for-hire and racketeering.
Former Ald. Sandi Jackson (7th), Jackson’s wife, who also pled guilty in 2013 for not paying taxes on the looted money, will begin her year-long sentence after Jackson is released from custody. The U.S. Marshall Service and the Bureau of Prisons will assign Sandi Jackson a date to voluntarily surrender – no more than a month after her husband is released from custody.
As of last March, Jackson’s release date was Sept. 20.
