Global warming news: Chicago set record for lowest high temperature for September 11

Nearly two weeks before the official start of autumn, Chicagoans are experiencing late October chill.

Yesterday the official high temperature in Chicago was 56 degrees--which is five degrees cooler than the high reached on September 11, 1940.

And as they say on Game of Thrones, winter is coming.

But Al Gore says the planet has a fever.
