One of Barack Obama's teleprompter-fed lines is "Bush-McCain policies." The truth, and Obama surely knows this, is that President Bush and John McCain are not politically or personally close, but just like Obama's "100 years in Iraq" smear, the junior senator from my state keeps at it, because the mainstream media is slow to blow the whistle on him.
On Tuesday, South Dakota will hold its Democratic Primary, and unfortunately, the Rapid City Journal, one of the state's largest papers, has fallen for one of those lines.
