Treo blogging again, from Garden City, KS.
Well, my suspicion was correct. Garden City, Kansas does not smell very good. There are beef processing plants surrounding the city. There's a Tyson plant too, and when I drove past it, at 8pm, the paking lot was full. That plant must be operating on at least two shifts.
But the cow slaughterhouses, or more precisely the outdoor feed lots adjacent to them, is what cause the odor. Is not the cows of course, but their, well you know....
Tomorrow I move on to northern and central Kansas.
