Two killed and at least 27 others wounded over weekend in Chicago

Chicago continues to inch towards 800 murders. Over the weekend two men were shot to death, both of them were killed on the South Side, and at least 27 others were wounded.

According to Hey Jackass there have been 785 homicides this year in the city.

Forty-five years ago today--Thanksgiving Day in 1976--the original edition of The Band performed its last concert, which was immortalized in the movie, directed by Martin Scorsese, The Last Waltz.
