Well-known fiscal watchdog, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), will offer an amendment on a bill presently residing in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that will ban "Obama in 2012" campaign signs such as the one pictured on the left.
That news comes from Michelle Malkin' blog.
But that's not all from Malkin, who informs her readers, "Guess what? They're everywhere."
Minnesota blogger Dave Thul found a campaign sign on Interstate 35, and he challenges the veracity of the claim that the project is funded by Obama's stimulus.
Commenters on various blogs I contribute to say there are several in Springfield, Illinois, one on I-94 near the Indiana state line, and a co-worker of mine spotted one on Cicero Avenue on the Chicago-Lincolnwood border. I'm going to snap a picture of that one tomorrow.
If you see signs like the one above, take a picture, place it on your blog, or e-mail it to me at john.ruberry@sbcglobal.net, along with the location of the sign. Anonymity guaranteed.
Be safe, and obey all laws.
And no vandalism. Let Coburn take care of disposing these signs.
