Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojejich, actually it was Blago impersonator Jason Sudeikis, returned to NBC's Saturday Night Live last night. Appearing on the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers, Blago/Sudeikis got in a few hair jokes, and even poked fun at his successor's lack of hair. Illinois' reputation, even though Blagojevich has been removed from office, remains unchanged, according to SNL writers:
"It's Illinois," Blago/Sudeikis said. "I know in most states it's shocking when your governor gets indicted. But in Illinois. It's like a coin coming up tails."
Sudeikis' Blagojevich could be back--after all, the real Blago has an indictment and a trial coming up, but if the character returns, the New York accent needs to go.

It almost sounded like a very flat version of the Chicago dialect. LOL
