Happy 150th, Kansas! With over 40 Sunflower State posts!

Yesterday was the 150th birthday of Kansas, the Sunflower State. The "Bleeding Kansas" of the 1850s was the opening act of the Civil War, so it's fitting that Kansas joined the Union just as it was falling apart.

In 2007 I traveled to Kansas for my first travel series. Below you will find My Kansas Kronikles. As you may notice, my photography skills have improved in four years. A lot.
