British ObamaCare update: Guarantees to see GP in 48 hours

If the British version of ObamaCare, the National Health Service, is offering a promise to see a general practitioner in 48 hours, then expectations of what constitutes acceptable health care have clearly been mangled by 60 years of socialized medicine in the UK.

From Healthcare Republic:

This year's NHS Operating Framework looks set to increase public expectations of access to GP services.

The 2010 Operating Framework 'guarantees' access to a practice nurse within 24 hours or a GP within 48 hours and in the evening or at the weekend.

Except on weekends, on the rare occasion I need to see a doctor, I can almost see my doctor on the same day I call.
